The Toledo Animal Shelter Auxiliary will present A Celebration of Wine and Food from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Oct. 22 at Manhattan’s, 1516 Adams St. All proceeds benefit Toledo Animal Shelter, Toledo’s oldest no-kill shelter.
“This is a fun and lovely event that helps showcase the shelter and all the employees who work tirelessly to create a safe, clean and caring environment for adoptable pets,” said Kate Kelley, auxiliary board member and shelter board vice president.
The event will feature four wines with animal themes, hors d’oeuvres and desserts. Raffle items include an eight-bottle wine refrigerator.
